How did you become interested in chocolate?
I am a native of Mexico City, photographer by trade and lifelong chocolate lover. When I moved to L.A. in 2010 I wanted to make my own chocolate, so, naturally, I went to YouTube. I started with chocolate covered strawberries and quickly realized how supple and spirited cacao is. That revelation spawned much research and experimentation that has resulted in Chokolatta’s amazing tastes.
